No data collected
Motionless does not collect, store on a server or share any personal data. The app contains no ads, no tracking and no analytics, and requires no account.
Processed on your device
Your projects, images, videos, music, brand kits, your first name (optional) and your preferences are saved on your device. Rendering, export, photo cutouts (Apple's Vision) and automatic captions (on-device speech recognition) are computed locally, without sending your files anywhere.
Apple Intelligence
On compatible devices, “A description” and “Ask for a change” use the Apple Intelligence model that runs on your device (Foundation Models framework). Your request is never sent to Motionless. Without Apple Intelligence, a keyword analysis, also on your device, takes over.
Photos and videos
The app only accesses the photos and videos you pick yourself, and only saves to your library the videos and images you choose to export. With “Share, then Motionless” from the Photos app, the selection is copied into the app's space on your device, nothing more.
Messages stickers
On iPhone and iPad, the stickers you keep stay on your device, in a space shared by the app and its Messages extension. They only leave it when you put one in a conversation yourself, like a photo.
iCloud sync
It is on by default: your projects are stored in your own iCloud, managed by Apple, so you find them on your other devices. Motionless has no access to them and never receives them. You can turn it off at any time in the app's Settings.
Music and files
Tracks and files you import are copied into your project, on your device. They are never sent anywhere.
Purchases
If in-app purchases are offered, they are handled by Apple's App Store. Motionless never receives your payment information.
This website
This website uses no cookies and no analytics. The “Download on the App Store” badge is loaded from Apple's servers.
Report a problem
Settings › Report a problem prepares an email you read in full before sending it yourself from your Mail app: app version, device model, system, language and, if you choose, a project and diagnostic reports kept on the device. Nothing leaves without you sending it.
Deletion
A deleted project stays 30 days in “Recently deleted”, then it is erased; if sync is on, the deletion is also applied in your iCloud. Deleting the app erases its data from your device.
